Today’s lesson has to do
with seeing the bigger picture. What does this mean? It means seeing pass the
surface of a situation. Example: You’re standing in line at the movies, waiting
for popcorn. While you’re in line the person in front of you starts a
conversation with you. So you engage in conversation. At a certain point you
think the conversation is over, but that person keeps talking and talking and
talking. You become annoyed. First because you’re waiting in a long line, and
second because this person won’t stop talking. You’re thinking in your head
please stop talking please. Finally, it’s their turn at the counter which leads
“that person” to end the conversation with you. As they finish up at the
counter “that person” turns to you and says, “thanks for talking to me.” As
“that person” walks away they are smiling. Then you realize that “that person”
was by himself.
Do you see what I mean? You
have no idea what someone may be going through.
Maybe, he feels lonely, and just a simple conversation made his day or
put a smile on his face. So, if you’re
presented with a situation, look pass the surface to understand what’s really
going on. I hope this will help someone else
see things differently. Better yet, see
the bigger picture. Have a great Sunday!
Well at least enjoy the rest of it!
By the way, I saw something
like this happen. That’s why i’m writing this lesson.
Thanks for reading
& Remember to smile :) ,
